Happy Birthday Hat!

I tried all day to get this picture. Hilde in her party hat!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY HILDE!!!!!!!

Today is Hilde's first birthday! Happy, happy birthday Hilde! Here is a brief over view of what we did.

Here Hilde went to Chuck and Don's to get some wet food for dinner. A very special treat.


Here is Hilde on a walk. Look at the great piece of bark. We let her take it home and chew on it.

Here is Hilde in her party hat. We had to try really, really hard to get her to wear it. She did not like that hat. She also got to open some presents! She got a stuffed rhino, a hoof and some large size squeaky tennis balls.

Here is Hilde swimming in the lake. She will go after the tennis ball, but after she gets it she leaves it.

Here is Hilde on a car ride to Caribou. The wind catches her lips and blow them up. It is so funny.

Hilde's bone chewing technique

Hilde loves to chew things in the air. If she can be upside down while she does it... all the better. Here she is demonstrating the air chew.

Hilde's mangey friends

Our good friend Chelsey (pup of Mark and Carla Stewart) has been afflicted by the Mange. Seriously- she has mange. We weren't sure that Hilde could play with that kind of girl anymore, but Chelsey is such a good girl I guess we will let it pass this time.

This picture is of Chelsey with her get well present from Hilde.

Here it is- it is a plush microbe representation of "mange". Chelsey actually really likes it. We were hoping she would get even with it.

Hilde must have spring fever

Hilde has been stir crazy the last few days. She is still going for three walks a day. She is playing with her friends next door. She must know something we don't about spring coming. I went into work late this morning so Hilde and I took a LONG walk to see if I could de-crazy her. She got muddy, swampy, wet- found a squeaky tennis ball and went swimming!
