On Thursday we found out we are getting a puppy! We were on a waiting list for a puppy who was to come home in August, however the breeder's current mama dog had seven girls (and two boys)! So we will be taking home a new puppy on June 6th. Puppy visiting day is May 24th, also the day of our friend's (Carla and Mark) wedding.
Today we made a list of puppy things to do--like puppy proofing the living room. We also made a puppy shopping list. We have already purchased some toys and Nature's Miracle by the gallon to clean up the inevitable accidents.

Here is a picture of the mama dog, "Ivy" and her pups. Somewhere in that pile of fur is Hildegard Abigail Lesher! We are going to call her Hilde.
